The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Nutrition
Practice and Research is becoming increasingly
significant as technology continues to advance.
AI offers innovative tools and methodologies
for analysing vast amounts of nutritional data,
identifying patterns, and providing personalized
recommendations. This session will delve into AI’s
applications, challenges, and prospects in nutrition,
highlighting its transformative impact on improving
health outcomes and informing evidence-based
dietary interventions.
The Debate
The Global Hunger Index (GHI) debate revolves
around the question: “Does it depict hunger and
malnutrition accurately?” This discussion delves
into the effectiveness of the GHI as a measure of
food insecurity and malnutrition worldwide. This
debate aims to critically examine the strengths and
limitations of the GHI as a tool for assessing global
hunger and malnutrition and explore alternative
approaches to measuring and addressing these
complex issues.
The Scientific program promises a rich array of
